About Us

Blue Heart Crafts came about a few years ago, as I needed an outlet for my makes as an alternative to craft fairs.

Following a desire to spin my own yarn, I became involved in the fibre industry at the source of wool production and processing. As well as providing supplies for my own crafts, I supply raw and processed fibre to the crafts market. I have also dipped into the world of dyeing yarn and fibre, producing some unique and interesting colour combinations.

I am very creative and love to use a variety of different mediums and often combine these to produce unique creations.

My gran taught me to knit and my mum showed me how to crochet, both from a young age, and I won an award at school for Needlework.

Over the years I have expanded my creative repertoire which includes upcycling, beading, macramé, decoupage, papercrafts, to name but a few.

I love working with natural products and repurposing the old into the new.

As well as my own creations, Blue Heart Crafts is now showcasing the work of fellow artisans.

There are many unique makers who have no real outlet for their products, so I am offering them a virtual shop window.
